I spent a couple of days in lovely Noosa. I went here with my mate Peter that I met at the diving course in Cairnes. I really loved Noosa and can recommend this place to all of you. A small little realxed village perfect for surfing and relaxing. Did my first surfing ever down here, it was hard but a lot of fun. Manage to stand up on the board after 2 hours training. But think I have to practise a couple of 1000 hours more if I want to be a surfer…hard work out.
I also went out for a Koala spotting with Petra that I met at the YHA Lodge Hostel. But we was really disapointed after almost three hour walk in the national park without spotting any Koala bear. But I think that doesnt matter, I was such a nice walk anyway, think I’ll have to go to the zoo to see the koalas.
I really recommend Noosa to all travelers in Australia, make sure to book room in advanced at YHA Halse Lodge for the best visit.

Leaving Cairns at 5:30 in the morning I’t dawned on me that my passport, tickets and camera were safely locked away in the hostel safe. The nightmanager had no success in retreiving it either. I left my details with the nightmanager and then left for Frasier Island*. On location I called the hostel and arranged for my things to be sent to my new hostel. 4 days later I’m sitting here in Hervey Bay (middle of nowhere) and stuck over the weekend waiting for my stuff to arrive. Lesson learned, don’t ever leave your passport behind! So everyone pray that It arrives on monday because I can’t stand another day here.
Luckily I have a korean in my room who is as bored as I am and who I convince to get drunk with me every night (asians get drunk really fast) to my endless amusement.
* Oh yea Frasier Island, saw some dingos, bathed in some lakes…

Hi, long time with no writing to the blog. I’ve been really buzy the last weeks with a lot of stuff going on. When I arrived to Cairnes I signed up for a five day long dive course to get the diving certificate… Thats what wicked, really cool do dive out in the great barrier reef with turtles, manta rays, sharks and nemo fishes
… More aabout the diving thing later, that deserves an own post. Its really hot here in Austalia so I dont bother to spend that much time infront of the computer…I prefer the beaches that kind of stuff
.
Im now in Noosa, this is a really nice and relax little town in Queensland. I arrived here yesterday, and now I have checked in at a lovely hostel that seems to be very nice and friendly. Im gonna stay here a couple of days and try to learn surfing before I heading down to Byron bay.
But now its time to zip on a cold mango magic smoothie and play some guitar at the terasse.
See you soon.
